Happy (belated) Mother's Day!

I hope all my friends had a wonderful Mother's Day. I did despite the fact that my hubby couldn't be home :( . OH well, sometimes he is and sometimes he isn't. At least he gets to be home for Father's Day this year. The kids and I ended up going to the Mandarin with my brother-in-law, sister-in-law, 3 nephews and my mother-in-law for a late lunch. It was still busy, but man was the food ever good.

I felt bad that I didn't get to see my Mom on the weekend. Her and my Dad were supposed to come to see my daughter's dance recital on Saturday but they both had wicked colds and stayed home. Mom and Dad were invited to my brother's for supper on Mother's Day but stayed home....that's how bad they felt. Hope they feel better soon. Having a cold this time of year BITES!!!!

I also just have to share with you the painting that my "Vary" talented daughter did for me. She originally did it for the downstairs bathroom, but it looks better in my kitchen and will sit on my old plate rack (which holds 3 plates) so she is going to do 2 more for me!
