Some Cards

Here are a couple of cards that I did last week.

Big Idea Festival

Today was day 1 for Big Picture Classes Big Idea Festival. Today's word was Share. Here is what I came up with

Card Club

Last night was our monthly card club. We made 2 cards and I loved the techniques used.

The first one we sponged the background and I love the result.

The second card we did a resist technique. You can see it on the flower. First we stamped with Versamark ink, then embossed with clear embossing powder. Finally, we applied ink with a sponge over the embossed image and then cut it out.

My mind is now swimming with card ideas after doing these techniques.

I'm a winner!!!!!

Actually I won twice in a matter of about a week...mind you this was WAAAAAAAAAAY back in May.

The first prize that I got was from BoBunny from one of their May blog hops. After waiting quite a while thanks to Canada Post, my prize pack finally came. I received some goodied from their Zoology Collection. Mind you, this is not something that I would buy myself but the more I look at it, the more ideas come to mind

The second prize I won was some hand made flowers and scrapping goodies from a lady named Lorena at This Scrapper's Corner. She was having adhesive issues and had asked her followers for some advice. For giving her some advice, she put our names in a hat and drew for a prize....low and behold it was ME!!!!

Note: the flowers at the bottom of the picture are the ones that Lorena made.

Guess I can't say that I never win anything now!!!
